WHO WE ARE

A NEW STANDARD IN MANUAL THERAPY EDUCATION

Johnston Farina Academy is a newly founded educational academy for manual therapists — for both human and animal practitioners. We deliver one-day professional development courses and, now, our brand-new Accredited Level 6 Diploma, built around our trademark approach.

Throughout our careers in clinical practice, higher education and research, we’ve both been driven by the same question: How can we help practitioners develop a deeper understanding of the people and animals they care for? That question has shaped everything we do. Whether we’re teaching osteopaths, animal therapists or other manual therapy professionals, our aim has never been simply to teach techniques. It’s to encourage curiosity, develop confident clinical reasoning, bridge research and real-world practice and inspire practitioners to continue learning throughout their careers.

We believe that great education doesn’t simply provide answers, it encourages practitioners to ask better questions. Johnston Farina Academy was created to bring together evidence-informed teaching, practical experience and compassionate care, creating educational programmes that challenge thinking, encourage discussion and ultimately improve outcomes for patients—whether human, equine or canine.
